This property in Doylestown had multiple landscape beds that needed a full reset. Overgrown shrubs, ragged bed edges, and worn-out mulch were making an otherwise nice property look tired. That's a pretty common situation - things grow fast and the beds just get away from you.

We worked through the entire property start to finish. That meant clearing out the debris, trimming the shrubs back into clean shapes, cutting sharp edges along every bed border, and then laying fresh black mulch throughout. The black mulch really does the heavy lifting here - it frames the plants and makes everything pop against the stone exterior and pavers.

The sidwalk-facing beds got the same treatment as the front. Ornamental grasses, catmint, and flowering shrubs were all cleaned up and properly edged so the beds sit tight against the sidewalk with no ragged overlap. A well-edged bed looks intentional. It's the kind of detail most people notice without knowing exactly why.

The larger rear bed - the one surrounding the mature sycamore - got fresh black mulch spread across the whole area, giving the newly planted perennials and ground covers a clean, uniform base to establish in. That contrast between the dark mulch and the bright green new growth is exactly what you want heading into summer.

Properties in Doylestown tend to have mature landscaping that just needs consistent attention to stay looking sharp. Clean beds and fresh mulch go a long way toward making a property look well cared for - without replacing a single plant.
