Large properties with established plantings are a lot to manage. Boxwood hedges, rounded shrubs, rhododendrons, foundation plantings - they all grow at different rates and need to be handled differently. When you let it go too long, the whole front of the house starts to look overgrown no matter how nice the lawn is. That's exactly the kind of situation we were working with here.

We came in and handled a full shrub trimming and cleanup across the entire front and side yards. Every hedge got shaped - tight, clean lines on the boxwoods, rounded forms on the ornamental shrubs near the entrance. The clippings were loaded up and hauled off as we went, which is why you can see the wheelbarrow full of debris mid-job. No pile left at the curb, no mess left behind.

On top of the trimming, we also put down fresh mulch throughout the beds. Dark mulch does two things at once - it makes the bed lines pop and it helps hold moisture in through the summer heat. Around here in Perkasie, summers can get dry fast, so fresh mulch in July is genuinely useful, not just decorative.

What makes this kind of work matter on a property like this is consistency. The shrubs near the entry columns, the hedgeline along the driveway, the plantings around the back corner - they all need to match in terms of shape and density. If one section looks sharp and another looks ragged, the whole property reads as neglected. We worked the full perimeter to make sure everything was dialed in.

Properties with this much established greenery need regular hands-on attention. One good cleanup visit goes a long way, but staying on a schedule is what keeps it looking like this long-term. We work with homeowners across Bucks County who want their landscaping maintained properly - not just mowed and moved on from.
